I’m Just a Little Homesick

For many of us who grew up in the Motherland, community is a part of who we are. And because of that I identified with my family as a community, as much as I do with my school mates, work mates and team mates. In those different areas of our lives we discussed intimate family issues; formed study groups to cram for exams; collaborated on complex tasks; and, passionately argued about who’s favorite soccer team was the greatest.

But time and circumstances have scattered us far away from those days. Sure, Facebook and similar social networks have brought many of us in touch once again. And for that I am grateful. But I still felt there is something missing. Enter… Qiqima.com.

What is Qiqima?
